The National Tractor Pullers Association proudly announces the 2009 NTPA Contingency Program that will be offered to all NTPA National Divisions of competition. This is the ninth year for this solid rewards program for competitors on the NTPA Championship Pulling Circuit. The grand total for the 2009 NTPA Contingency Program is $288,750, with the Regional National program equaling $49,275 of this total.
Fourteen companies have committed to the program. These companies are committed to the sport of truck and tractor pulling and show unwavering confidence in NTPA Championship Pulling and its competitors. The participating companies are dedicated to quality service on and off the track and include:
Brooks Rods, Corsa, CV Products, FAB Shop, Gene‘s Machine Shop, Probell Racing, Profab, Proformance Pros, Racepak Data Systems, Racing Engine Valves (REV), Riverside Engines, SCS Gearbox, Sonny‘s Racing Engines & Components, Smith Brothers Pushrods, and Stroud Safety.
Competitors wishing to participate in the NTPA Grand National or Regional National Contingency Program MUST sign up via the May or June issue of The Puller.
A competitor must hold a current, 2009 NTPA License and have their vehicle(s) registered, and MUST fill out the sign-up form. Those competitors registering by June 1 will have their decals mailed. Anyone registering after that time will receive their package at the Wilmington, Ohio or Tomah, Wis. events. Those not participating in Wilmington or Tomah will receive their decals in the mail shortly thereafter.
