Worthington, Ohio---The lawn chairs are already staked. The camper is already packed. The, uh, "pop" is already chlled.

BG week awaits.

But wait up: That's Week 14. We've still got a full weekend of Grand and Regional National action before the lid gets lifted on the 52nd, and some of it just might be on your way to Wood County.

In Sandusky, Ohio, it's the Erie County Fair Pull on Friday, August 10 at 6:30 p.m., with GN classes of Pro Stocks and Modified Minis as well as Region II Eastern StainlessDiesel.com Pro Stock Diesel 4x4 3.0s and Modifieds. On top in each of these divisions are Charles Pelletier of St. Armand, Quebec ("CP Dream II" PS), Adam Bauer of Paton, Iowa ("Iron Toy" MINI), and Rob Wright of McArthur, Ohio ("All Attitude" PSD 4x4-E), and Ryan Writsel of Orient, Ohio ("Lucky Stryke" MOD).

Then on Saturday, August 11, the Henry County Fair in Napoleon, Ohio welcomes Pros and Minis as well as Diesel Supers among the GN ranks, plus Region II Two- (W) and Four-Wheel-Drive Trucks. Your incoming leaders are Stan and Steve Blagrave of Ackerly, Texas ("Red Horse" SSD), Randy Petro of Camden, Ohio ("Vintage Kathy's Komplaint" TWD-W), and Steve Elchinger of Holgate, Ohio ("Jus' Passin' Thru" FWD).

Also on Saturday, the Norwalk Lions Club in Norwalk, Wisconsin hosts a two-session affair. At noon, it's Grand National Four Wheel Drives and Multi-Engine Modifieds plus Region III Two Wheel Drives and Wisconsin Tractor Pullers Association classes of Light Super Stocks, Light Limited Super Stocks, and Light Pro Stocks. At 6:30 p.m., the national classes return and are joined by Region III Limited Pro Stocks and state Super Farms. Incoming leaders are Carmen Foster of Fairgrove, Michigan ("Foster Child" FWD), Bret Berg of Farmington, Minnesota ("Money Maker" MOD), Dustin Amundson of Nerstrand, Minnesota ("Bottoms Up" TWD), and Bill Figanbaum of Tripoli, Iowa ("Instigator" LIM PS).

And on Sunday, August 12 at 7 p.m., Zanesville, Ohio's Muskingum County Fair will finish whetting the pulling fan's appetite with a four-class regional show: Eastern Light Pros and Two Wheel Drives plus Pro Stocks and Modifieds. Topping the charts are Scott Webb of Beverly, Ohio ("Ragin' Red LT PS-E), Jacob Shephard of Brown City, Michigan ("Alcohol Addiction Retapped" TWD), and the Whitney/Aller Team of St. Marys, Ohio ("Ground Force" PS).

So don't look past a great week of NTPA pulling---or Owatonna next Friday. But go ahead and practice so you don't blow out your vocal cords: FUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLL...
