Holicky's "Mother Trucker" Is Kingpin of SEMI for Fifth Time

Dean Holicky (Montgomery, Minnesota)

"Mother Trucker"

2019 NTPA Grand National Super Semi Champion

With three wins among five perfect 30-point scores, Dean Holicky and his "Mother Trucker" Peterbilt rolled to their fifth Grand National title of the past six seasons. Two of those wins came in Tomah and established a two-point lead over double runner-up Pat Eilen's "Just Passin' Thru in Class" (-5), but Eilen evened the score with two victories of his own in Hutchinson. When Ryan DeBroux's "Playin' with Fire" (-24.5) then claimed rain-soaked Rockwell, "Mother" edged "Passin'" by 3.14' for second. That produced the lead that would last through the tour's final stops in Bowling Green and Hudsonville, through which Holicky hauled in the maximal 90 points. Brian Elithorpe's "Nikki's Nightmare" (-63.5) slumbered for most of a winless season but will be going for its third straight Enderle check, while Jack Kielmeyer, the Pull-Off's all-time best regional performer, will be eyeing Urbana to make a season highlight for his "Jacked Up" (-104).
