Light Pro Competitors' Grandfather George Howell Has Died

The WPI/NTPA office has been notified of the passing on Thursday, January 25 of George Howell, 88, of Greentown, Indiana. Mr. Howell was the father of Brad and grandfather of NTPA competitors Blake, Brice, and Zach (New Holland T8020 Light Pro Stock).

A lifelong farmer, Mr. Howell also owned and operated Greentown Equipment for 55 years until his retirement in 2015. He served as President of the Indiana Equipment Dealers Association in 1974 and was a member of Macedonia Christian Church in Kokomo and the Greentown Lions Club.

Mr. Howell is survived by his wife Carolyn; his children: Dana A. Brovont, Brad (Tammy) Howell, and Michael L. (Cathy) Howell; his grandchildren: Dawn (Greg) Guffey, Darren (Andrea) Brovont, Bethany (Jason) Wanza, Zach (Candice) Howell, Baxter (Katlyn) Howell, Brice (Quenci) Howell, Blake Howell, Justin (Lauren) Howell, and Derek Howell; and ten great-grandchildren, Alysa, Gavin, Porter, Hayden, Laila, Jaxson, Cole, Cayden, Memphis, and Grace.
