Welcome to the Inaugural NTPA Father’s Day Nationals!
This marks the first time in almost 20 years that the NTPA has been in Western PA! In addition to being a competitive showcase of your talents, this event will also serve as a fundraiser for our community’s long-running fair. So on behalf of the Lawrence County Fair Board, the New Castle community and our numerous volunteers, we hope you’ll enjoy your weekend! Enclosed is some information for our inaugural event.
Fairgrounds Address: 464 Midway Road New Castle, PA 16101

The best route into the fairgrounds is to travel West on Route 108.
Beware that most roads past the fairgrounds to the West have tonnage limits.
We highly recommend using Interstate 79 from the north or south, and take the Slippery Rock Exit #105 to access Route 108. (Mile Marker 104.8).
From Interstate 80, it is only 11 miles Southbound to also reach Exit #105 (Route 108).
Travel on Route 108 Westbound for 8 miles to the fairgrounds.
You will travel past the Lawrence County Fair main gate, #1, on the left.
The next road on your left is Bodziach Road. Turn left onto Bodziach Road.
Gate #3 will be on your left in under ¼ mile, onto 4-H Lane.
Enter the facility here. You will be met by a parking volunteer.
(Spectators parking and entry will be determined prior to the event day, depending on the condition of our grass parking lots).
Egress from the Fairgrounds will be the same as above.
Competitors with haulers will be entering through Fair Gate 3.
Parking will be available for haulers: Thursday, June 13th by appointment from 6:30-9pm.
Friday June 15th, Noon until 10pm and resuming Saturday at 8am.
Please take the time to notify us if arriving later than the stated hours. Parking is coordinated through Jeff Martin (724) 944-0703.
Haulers will be parked throughout the southern portion of the fairgrounds, as the northern portion of the fairgrounds is being utilized for a separate event.
Some parking will take place in grass or fields, in case of inclement weather, parking will be re-arranged onto as many asphalt and gravel surfaces as possible.
There is no designated “pit” area. This event is open pit accessible to all spectators. You will be parked throughout the southern portion of the Fairgrounds, similar to the Enderle Pull-Offs in Urbana, OH and the National Tractor Pulling Championships at Bowling Green, OH.
Spectator parking will be near gates 1 or 4, but will be specified at a later date due to conditions of our parking lots
Competitors must have a valid 2019 Competition License and Vehicle Registration, or pay a per-hook fee for each appearance.
NTPA Event Services will have an up-to-date list of licensed competitors and vehicles when entry opens on Saturday. Licenses may be purchased at the Entry Trailer. Your entry license grants you admittance for 1 NTPA driver license and the 2 NTPA crew licenses that were provided by NTPA. Per NTPA standard – Vehicle entry fee is 1% of the purse of the class of vehicle to enter for its competition in to the event. Additional crew members may purchase “Trackside” (known most places as “Cold Pit” wristbands) at entry for $30 or a “Grandstand” only ticket for $20.
