Columbus, Ohio—Welcome, competitors and fans, to the 53rd championship season of the National Tractor Pullers Association!
The Muskingum County Fair Pull on Sunday, August 13 is the collaborative effort of the NTPA and the Muskingum County Ag Society of Zanesville, Ohio. Conducted at the fairgrounds in Zanesville, the one-session event will star five Regional National divisions beginning at 7:30 p.m.
NTPA Championship Pulling brings together skilled competitors, dynamic machines, and ardent fans for outrageous displays of horsepower at fairgrounds and festivals across the United States. Specialized tractors, trucks, and dragsters tow a heavy metal sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled’s resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the one that pulls the sled the farthest is the winner. Pullers spend long nights traveling, wrenching, and tuning to put on the best show and take their best shot at prize money and season championships.
Scheduled to appear at the 2023 Muskingum County Fair Fair Pull are Classic Super Stock and Light Pro Stock Tractors, Super Stock Four-Wheel-Drive and Stainless Diesel Pro Stock Diesel 4×4 3.0 Trucks, and multi-engine Modifieds. All will compete for championships in the NTPA’s Region II (Light Pros: II-East; 3.0s: II-South; Modified: II-Southeast) and qualification to appear at the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16 in Urbana, Ohio.
