Columbus, Ohio—Welcome, competitors and fans, to the 53rd championship season of the National Tractor Pullers Association!
The Waupaca County Fair Pull on Saturday, August 26 is the collaborative effort of the NTPA and Waupaca County Fair of Weyauwega, Wisconsin. Conducted at the fairgrounds in Weyauwega, the one-session event will star three Regional National divisions and four state-level divisions beginning at 6:30 p.m.
NTPA Championship Pulling brings together skilled competitors, dynamic machines, and ardent fans for outrageous displays of horsepower at fairgrounds and festivals across the United States. Specialized tractors, trucks, and dragsters tow a heavy metal sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled’s resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the one that pulls the sled the farthest is the winner. Pullers spend long nights traveling, wrenching, and tuning to put on the best show and take their best shot at prize money and season championships.
Scheduled to appear at the Waupaca County Fair Pull are Light Pro Stock and 4.1 Limited Pro Stock Tractors and Modified Minis. All will compete for championships in the NTPA’s Region III and qualification to appear at the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16 in Urbana, Ohio.
Also appearing will be Wisconsin Tractor Pullers Association classes of Light Super Stock, Light Limited Super Stock, and Super Farm Tractors and Four-Wheel-Drive Trucks. The WTPA is an NTPA member state organization.
