Banquet Silent, Live Auctions Raise Nearly $10K in Scholarship Fund Donations

WPI/NTPA Scholarship Fund

The WPI/NTPA Higher Education Scholarship Fund awards multiple monetary amounts each year on behalf of deserving applicants who are affiliates (competitors, crewpersons, officials, clerks, and promoters) or relatives of affiliates of the NTPA.

Scholarships are directed toward educational institutions (colleges, universities, and vocational schools) and are capitalized by donations from NTPA members and partners.

The most significant fundraising event each year is the Silent Auction conducted at the National Convention and Awards Banquet in December.

Thanks to the generosity of its prize donors and bidders The 2024 WPI/NTPA Higher Education Scholarship Fund Silent Auction raised $3,345, which alone would fund in excess of three $1,000 scholarships.

Additionally, Case IH, the Grand National Circuit Presenting Sponsor, donated a limited edition, die-cast Farmall 1066 1/16-Scale Replica for live auction during the banquet program. It was purchased by Four Wheel Drive competitor and award sponsor Larry Peterson (“Profab Geared Up”) of Baldwin, Wisconsin for a $6,500 donation to the Fund, bringing the 2024 total to $9,845.

WPI/NTPA extends our deep gratitude to Case IH, Larry, and all of the prize donors and bidders for their assistance in sustaining the Higher Education Scholarship Fund.
