Donovan Engineering Corporation has been making aluminum engine blocks since 1971 with the Donovan 417 which was based on the 1958 Chrysler 392 Hemi.

Since then, the state-of-the-art facility has provided engine builders around the world with aluminum engine blocks based on the small block Chevy, big block Chevy, Model-D, and the 417 Hemi.
