Eaton’s Petro Memorial Pull to Pay $1,000 Bonus to TWD Winner

The Randy Petro Memorial Pull in Eaton, Ohio on Friday, August 4 will include an extra incentive for participants in the class once so fiercely contested by the event’s namesake.

The winner of the Two Wheel Drive class will be rewarded with a $1,000 bonus. Additionally, entry fees for TWD competitors will be prepaid, thanks to a donation from the Petro family.

Mr. Petro, a 2020 inductee into the Pulling Hall of Fame, won five Grand National titles with “Kathy’s Komplaint.” He passed that same year following a battle with cancer, and the Preble County Fair Pull has been renamed in his honor since.
