Matt and Josh Steinmetz’s Grandmother Has Passed

It is our sad duty to report the passing on Sunday, January 28 of Doris Ann Williams, 84, of New Riegel, Ohio. Mrs. Williams was the grandmother of NTPA staff member Matt Steinmetz and former staff member Josh Steinmetz.

A homemaker and a cook for Kiwanis Manor and St. Catherine’s Care Center in Tiffin, Mrs. Williams enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities, playing cards, and spending time with family.

In addition to Matt and Josh (Katie), their sister Nicole, and their mother Sue (Roger), Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband Richard of 62 years; sons Thomas (Paula), John (Leslie), and David (Shelly); daughters Donna (Steve) Frank, Norma (Rick) Steiner, Rose (Bruce) Gunner, and Debra (Jerry) Hanna; 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and four brothers. Visitation for Mrs. Williams’ family and friends will be on Friday, February 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 South Monroe Street in Tiffin, Ohio 44883 and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until her funeral mass begins at 19:30 a.m. at All Saints Parish in New Riegel.

Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Parish or charities of the donor’s choice.
