Columbus, Ohio—The National Tractor Pullers Association and GMS Manufacturing & Machine of Hamilton, Ohio have declared that GMS will join the lineup of NTPA Grand National Divisional Sponsors.
The GMS Manufacturing & Machine Grand National Light Modified Division will make eight appearances across four venues during the 2024 regular season and will advance five twin-engine vehicles to September’s Enderle Pull-Off.
GMS Manufacturing & Machine builds, fabricates, and sells a complete line of performance engine, chassis, and driveline parts for all divisions and levels of pulling. The Butler County, Ohio enterprise also offers design consultation and dyno testing.
“We’ve had the great privilege of serving the needs of NTPA competitors since our company was founded a quarter-century ago,” said Brent Payne, GMS President. “Besides the class sponsorship, we’ll be fielding and maintaining a Light Mod entry this season. We can’t wait to get started.”
The GMS Machine shop specializes in 10- to 100-piece projects for high-stress tractor and truck pulling as well as other motorsport and industrial applications.
“Brent’s roots are in the Super Stock division,” began Gregg Randall, the NTPA’s Executive Director. “But the GMS name comes up early and often when any of our classes gets discussed, and the ground-up competition vehicles his shop turns out are immaculate.”
