Tyler Coia Joins NTPA as Event Systems/Data Manager

Columbus, Ohio—The National Tractor Pullers Association has added Tyler Coia of Randolph, Ohio to its headquarters staff in the position of Event Systems/Data Manager.

Coia is a 2019 graduate of Kent State University with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. He previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration from KSU in 2016.

Tyler’s roots are in the Super Stock Four-Wheel-Drive Truck division in which his late grandfather Joe and father Bryan began competing in the mid-1980s. Bryan currently pulls “Out-Witt-Ed II” on the NTPA’s Region II circuit, and Tyler serves as his crew chief.

“Three generations of my family have supported the amazing sport of truck and tractor pulling,” Coia noted. “I’ve been involved ever since I could talk and walk. I’m proud to begin my work as a full-time employee of the NTPA.”

“Tyler’s enthusiasm for the sport and his detailed knowledge of it were really evident during the interview process,” said Gregg Randall, the NTPA’s Executive Director. “His education relates specifically to the intake and processing of information, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he contributes to our operation on behalf of our members.”

Coia enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching Cleveland sports teams. He and his fiancee Danielle plan to make their home near the future NTPA office site in Marion.
