Fall Meetings Moved to “Enderle Friday”

Columbus, Ohio—This year’s Fall Divisional, NTPA Annual, and WPI/NTPA Joint Executive Board Meetings will be conducted throughout the day on Friday, September 15. The site, as in recent years, will be the Champaign County Fairgrounds in Urbana, Ohio, which will then host the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16.

Divisional Committes will meet in open forums beginning at 9 a.m. in the greater hall of the fairgrounds’ 4-H Activities Building. The goal will be to craft and refine rule change proposals that will then be introduced at the NTPA Annual (or “Full Board”) Meeting, which will begin at 1 p.m.

Following that meeting, whose agenda includes the election of the Association’s officers by Member State representatives, the WPI and NTPA Executive Boards will meet in joint session at 2 p.m. and invite Divisional Committee representatives to discuss their proposals. Each committee will be provided with a predetermined half-hour time slot.

The Joint Meeting will conclude with a legislative period in which many of the proposals as well as other agenda items will be debated and advance to a vote.

The schedule is a change from that of recent years in which the Divisional Committee first met on Friday evening and the Joint Board on Sunday morning.

It is anticipated that the Joint Board will be able to complete its work on Friday, but Saturday and Sunday mornings remain available for additional meeting time.
