Father of PS 4.1 Competitor Jeff Bahl Has Passed

It is our sad duty to report the death on Thursday, March 23 of Donald K. Bahl, 87, of Lancaster, Wisconsin. Mr Bahl was the father of 4.1 Limited Pro Stock competitor and Full Throttle Shootout promoter Jeff Bahl (“Doctor Deere”), also of Lancaster.

The elder Mr. Bahl worked at Oscar Meyer in Madison boefore returning to Lancaster to operate Bahl Farms at Five Points alongside his wife Ruth. He enjoyed snowmobiling, tractor pulls, UTV rides, playing cards, and traveling.

In addition to Ruth and Jeff and Amy, Mr. Bahl is survived by daughter, Linda (Ron) McKelvey, sons: Dave (Nancy) and Bill (Sharon), 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, a sister, a sister-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. His full obituary may be found here.

Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Tuesday, March 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until his funeral mass at 11 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster.
