Hot Shot’s Secret, NTPA Sponsor, to Stream Overnight Trucking Show

Columbus, Ohio—WPI/NTPA has been notified of an exciting new project underway by circuit sponsor Hot Shot’s Secret.

“The Steve Sommers Overnight Drive,” a midnight-to-5 a.m. live call-in talk show centering on issues and information relevant to the trucking industry, originates from the Hot Shot’s Secret studios near Cincinnati, Ohio. The show is live streamed from www.OvernightDriveRadio.com. The full text of the announcement appears here. Details on the show’s rollout  are provided on the Hot Shot’s Secret YouTube and Facebook social media channels.

The streamed broadcast fills a void arising from the November 2020 cancellation of Sommers’ national radio program, “America’s Truckin’ Network.” Begun by Sommers’ father Dale (the “Truckin’ Bozo”) in 1984 and hosted by Steve since 2004, “ATN” was an overnight companion of long-haulers and third-shifters across the United States.

Based in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Hot Shot’s Secret, a producer of protective fuel and oil additives for diesel- and gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment, joined the NTPA family of sponsors in 2020. For more information about their products (including hand sanitizer), visit their website: HotShotSecret.com.
