The Decatur County 4-H Fair Pull on Monday, July 17 is the collaborative effort of the NTPA and the Decatur County 4-H Fair of Greensburg, Indiana. Conducted at the fairgrounds in Greensburg, the one-session event will star three Regional National divisions beginning at 7 p.m.
Travel advisory: Pullers should enter the grounds from Park Road at Gate C.
NTPA Championship Pulling brings together skilled competitors, dynamic machines, and ardent fans for outrageous displays of horsepower at fairgrounds and festivals across the United States. Specialized tractors, trucks, and dragsters tow a heavy metal sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled’s resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the one that pulls the sled the farthest is the winner. Pullers spend long nights traveling, wrenching, and tuning to put on the best show and take their best shot at prize money and season championships.
Scheduled to appear at the 2023 Decatur County 4-H Fair Pull are Light Pro Stock and Hot Farm Tractors and Two-Wheel-Drive Trucks. All will compete for championships in the NTPA’s Region II (Light Pros: II-West) and qualification to appear at the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16 in Urbana, Ohio.
