Columbus, Ohio—Welcome, competitors and fans, to the 53rd championship season of the National Tractor Pullers Association!
The Hartford NTPA Nationals on Tuesday, July 18 is the collaborative effort of the NTPA and the Van Buren County Fair of Hartford, Michigan. Conducted at the fairgrounds in Hartford, the one-session event will star three Regional National divisions beginning at 7 p.m.
NTPA Championship Pulling brings together skilled competitors, dynamic machines, and ardent fans for outrageous displays of horsepower at fairgrounds and festivals across the United States. Specialized tractors, trucks, and dragsters tow a heavy metal sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled’s resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the one that pulls the sled the farthest is the winner. Pullers spend long nights traveling, wrenching, and tuning to put on the best show and take their best shot at prize money and season championships.
Scheduled to appear at the 2023 Hartford Nationals are Super Farm Tractors, Four-Wheel-Drive Trucks, and Modified Minis. All will compete for championships in the NTPA’s Region II (Minis: II-Northwest) and qualification to appear at the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16 in Urbana, Ohio.
