Columbus, Ohio—Welcome, competitors and fans, to the 53rd championship season of the National Tractor Pullers Association!
The Dunn County Fair Pull on Saturday, July 29 is the collaborative effort of the NTPA and the Dunn County Fair of Menomonie, Wisconsin. Conducted at Recreation Park in Menomonie, the one-session event will star seven Regional National divisions beginning at 7 p.m.
NTPA Championship Pulling brings together skilled competitors, dynamic machines, and ardent fans for outrageous displays of horsepower at fairgrounds and festivals across the United States. Specialized tractors, trucks, and dragsters tow a heavy metal sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled’s resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the one that pulls the sled the farthest is the winner. Pullers spend long nights traveling, wrenching, and tuning to put on the best show and take their best shot at prize money and season championships.
Scheduled to appear at the Dunn County Fair Pull are Light Limited Super Stock, Super Farm, Light Pro Stock Tractors; Two-Wheel-Drive and Four-Wheel-Drive Trucks; and Mini and multi-engine Modifieds. All will compete for championships in the NTPA’s Region III and qualification to appear at the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16 in Urbana, Ohio.
