National Year-End Point Funds to Increase by $115K in 2024

Columbus, Ohio—The National Tractor Pullers Association has significantly increased its National Point Fund payouts for top finishers in 2024 at both the Grand and Regional National levels. The move, which amounts to over $115,000 in supplemental year-end payouts above the 2023 totals, arises from agreements with a wave of new corporate partners including four new National Series, six GN Divisional, and two Region sponsors.

Overall payout to competitors who place in the top 10 in Grand National points races will be augmented by at least $80,000, while Regional National champions and high finishers will collectively see a $35,000 bounce. These numbers equate to bumps of more than $6,000 per GN class and $1,000 per RN class.

Additional point-fund money may be designated for distribution to either or both competition levels if more sponsors are signed.

“Entirely new sectors of the business community—those related to agriculture, high performance, and our competitors themselves—have been mined as never before and exposed to the great NTPA Championship Pulling product,” noted Gregg Randall, the NTPA’s Executive Director. “We are beyond excited that our pullers can share in the benefits of providing our fans and event promoters with thrilling shows of outstanding quality that have generated such interest in the corporate world.”

As of this writing, Beck’s Hybrids, WIX Filters, Cow Tales Candy, and the U.S. Army have joined Case IH, Hot Shot’s Secret, MAC Trailer, Enderle Fuel Injection, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Ag Protect 1 Insurance, Cen-Pe-Co Lubricants, and AKE/STOP-FYRE as National Series Sponsors.

Among the GN divisions, Hi Torque (Super Farm) and Doctor Preload (Super Semi) have returned, while NewFields Ag (Super Stock Diesel), Yoder Popcorn (Pro Stock), CM Pulling Tires (Two Wheel Drive), and GMS Manufacturing & Machine (Light Modified) are new in 2024. And TerraMax and Pro Puller Tires will sponsor the entire Region III and Region IV circuits, respectively.

“It’s a hearty ‘Welcome Back’ to Cow Tales, which was with us for a stint in seasons past, and a ‘Welcome Aboard’ to so many newcomers,” Randall effused. “And we are so appreciative of those sponsors who first bought into the NTPA mission years or even decades ago.

“Along with their funding, several of these partners will be sending representatives to meet with our event announcers, our competitors, and our fans,” Randall added. “When you see a sponsor’s logo on a polo shirt, please take a moment to thank them for their involvement.

“More importantly, use those logos on shirts, signs, or banners as a guide when choosing with whom to do business.”
