For Those About to Rock: North Iowa Nationals Welcomes 12 GN Divisions Plus R3 LIM PS

RockwellColumbus, Ohio---Together, America, we pulled through. Welcome back to Rockwell!

In conjunction with the Rockwell Lions Club, the National Tractor Pullers Association will present the North Iowa Nationals Thursday through Saturday, July 8-10 at Chamber Acres in Rockwell, Iowa. The 13-division Grand National event will be conducted in four sessions: Thursday at 6 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m., and Saturday at noon and 6 p.m.

In NTPA Championship Pulling, vehicles drag a 20-ton weight transfer sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled's resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the puller who achieves the greatest distance is victorious. At events across the United States, elite competitors campaign their specialized machines---which resemble farm tractors, trucks, and dragsters---for chances at purse money and precious points toward end-of-season championships.

2021 marks the 52nd year of NTPA Championship Pulling, the world's original and number-one circuit for premier-level truck and tractor pulling events. Come to Rockwell and fill your senses with the sights of glistening graphics, the sounds of mechanical might, the scents of exhausted energy, and the spirit of American achievement.

Twelve Grand National divisions will appear across the four sessions: Light Super Stock, Super Stock Diesel, Super Stock Open, Super Farm, and Pro Stock Tractors; Two-Wheel-Drive, Four-Wheel-Drive, Super Stock Diesel 4x4, and Super Semi Trucks; and Mini, Multi-Engine, and Unlimited Modifieds. Moreover, a Regional National class of Limited Pro Stock Tractors will be part of Session One.

The session-by-session schedule is as follows: Session One (Thursday, 6 p.m.): FWD, MINI, MOD, SSD 4x4, SSO, LIM PS. Session Two (Friday, 6 p.m.): LSS, PS, SEMI, SF, SSD, TWD, UNL. Session Three (Saturday, noon): FWD, MINI, MOD, SF, SSD 4x4. Session Four (Saturday, 6 p.m.): LSS, PS, SEMI, SSD, SSO, TWD, UNL.

In addition to the event purse, all will compete for championships on either the Grand National Series presented by Case IH Agriculture or in the NTPA's Region III-South subregion (Limited Pros). Most divisions will also be pulling in pursuit of berths in the 34th Enderle Memorial Pull-Off on Saturday, September 18 in Urbana, Ohio. The NTPA's all-star invitational will feature over 100 of the nation's toughest competitors. Visit NTPAPULL.com/Contest to enter the Case IH/NTPA Superfan Sweepstakes to win a trip for two to the Enderle or to the Case IH Experience Center in Racine, Wisconsin.

The North Iowa Nationals will feature the NTPA's Mobile Videoboard, which will display live action, instant replays, and distances.
