June 2-3: Benson, NC's Mule City 300

Columbus, Ohio---Welcome, competitors and fans, to the 53rd championship season of the National Tractor Pullers Association!

The Mule City 300 Tractor Pull on Friday and Saturday, June 2-3 is the collaborative effort of the NTPA and GALOT Motorsports Park of Benson, North Carolina. The two-night event will star four Grand National divisions and one Regional National division in the 2023 opener for both championship series. Each session will include all five classes on twin tracks beginning at 7 p.m.

NTPA Championship Pulling brings together skilled competitors, dynamic machines, and ardent fans for outrageous displays of horsepower at fairgrounds and festivals across the United States. Specialized tractors, trucks, and dragsters tow a heavy metal sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled's resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the one who pulls the sled the farthest is the winner. Pullers spend long nights traveling, wrenching, and tuning to put on the best show and take their best shot at prize money and season championships.

Scheduled to appear at the 2023 Mule City 300 are GN Light Super Stock, Super Stock Open, and Hi Torque Super Farm Tractors and Light Modifieds as well as Region IV Light Pro Stocks. Competitors in all five divisions will pursue championships at their respective levels and qualification to appear at the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16 in Urbana, Ohio.

Benson will mark the national debut for the new twin-engine Light Mod class. The Mule City 300 returns to the auspices of NTPA sanctioning for the first time since 2019.

Fans will be kept informed and entertained by the NTPA's Mobile Videoboard, which will present multi-camera live video, replays, driver and vehicle identifications, and distances. Can't be there in person? Check out NTPA.tv for the broadcast, available both live and on-demand.
