Worthington, Ohio---Iowa, it's time to get out and go pulling!
The National Tractor Pullers Association and the Rockwell Lions Club of Rockwell, Iowa will proudly present the North Iowa Nationals on Thursday through Saturday, August 6-8. The four-session event will include nine NTPA Grand National divisions and two appearances of Regional National Limited Pro Stock Tractors on two tough tracks that run parallel to U.S. 65, just 10 miles south of Mason City.
Update: Advance ticket sales for the North Iowa Nationals are up and running at ShopNTPA.com/tickets.
Pursuant to meetings with local health officials, the Lions Club elected to postpone the event from its original dates of July 9-11. The rosters of classes that will appear at each session are as follows. (Note: This listing matches the originally published session-by-session schedule except for the addition of a second class of Limited Pros in Session Four.)
- Session One (Thursday, August 6, 7 p.m.): MOD, SF, SSD 4x4, TWD, LIM PS (R5)
- Session Two (Friday, August 7, 7 p.m.): FWD, MINI, PS, SEMI, SSD, UNL

- Session Four: (Saturday, August 8, 7 p.m.): MINI, PS, SEMI, SSD, TWD, UNL, LIM PS (R5)
Though restrictions on the sizes of allowable mass gatherings have, for the moment, eased across the Hawkeye State, rules regarding protective and sanitary equipment will be enforced. Fans will be directed to seating areas and required to remain in place for the duration of each session. Purchasing tickets online will be strongly encouraged to minimize contact with volunteer gate workers.
"The Rockwell Lions are determined to have the NTPA at Chamber Acres this year if there is any way to safely do it," said Gregg Randall, the Association's General Manager. "They're performing their due diligence and have impressed me with their steadfastness in the face of this unprecedented challenge.
"We have met with their local health officials, and both the Lions and the NTPA are going into this venture committed and clear-eyed," Randall concluded.
