Inaugural Release to Feature Sanctioned Event Schedules, Lineups, Results
Marion, Ohio—The National Tractor Pullers Association and McGill DevTech have developed the first edition of the NTPA App for mobile devices. The app is available for download from the Google Play (Android) and Apple App stores and has been approved for use on both platforms.
Interested persons are encouraged to search for “NTPA” on either store. The app’s icon is the venerable NTPA shield.
The navigation of the feature set of the app currently originates with the complete NTPA-sanctioned event schedule (Super, Grand, Regional, and Member State). Such events may be filtered by circuit and appearing divisions.
Clicking on an event calls forth session start time and location information and will ultimately include details such as ticket prices and camping availability once these are submitted. In turn, clicking on each session leads to a list of classes as buttons that will display lineups (when and where available) and results (in real time where available).
The NTPA’s official website, NTPAPULL.com, will also publish this information but on separate Schedule, Lineup, and Results pages.
“NTPAPULL.com will continue to help keep our fans and members informed of the happenings in and around the Association,” said Ned Walliser, WPI Executive Board President. “But many mobile users have been asking for an app that fits better on their screens and navigates better on their devices.
“NTPA heard and has answered that call.”
Now that the NTPA App has reached the srarting line—where it can be put in the hands of competitors and spectators alike—Walliser envisions an ever-expanding mission for the new program.
“More features are in the works, but these are the ones that were most requested, and they have been realized,” Walliser explained. “Thanks to our developer, McGill DevTech, and to the NTPA App Team for their efforts in bringing this to you in time for the 2025 season. We hope you like it.”
