XI. Points / Competition
A. Points
4. A vehicle may be registered and collect points at more than one competition level (i.e. Grand National, Regional, State). In order to collect series points the vehicle must be registered at that series level or higher.
This replaces former rule:
XI.A.4. A vehicle may be registered at only one competition license level and will collect points only at that level. If vehicle changes levels of license, vehicle will forfeit all previously accumulated points at previous level.
Objective:
Allow NTPA members to actively participate, and collect year end points awards on both the Grand National and Regional tours during the same season. Previously, a competitor was required to choose only one tour per vehicle. Now Grand National competitors have the option to support events on both tours.
