Columbus, Ohio—Welcome, competitors and fans, to the 53rd championship season of the National Tractor Pullers Association!
The M.E. Miller Tire Tri-State Showdown on Friday, September 1 is the collaborative effort of the NTPA and the Fulton County Fair of Wauseon, Ohio. Conducted at the fairgrounds in Wauseon, the one-session Pro National event will star two Grand National and four Regional National divisions beginning at 6:30 p.m.
NTPA Championship Pulling brings together skilled competitors, dynamic machines, and ardent fans for outrageous displays of horsepower at fairgrounds and festivals across the United States. Specialized tractors, trucks, and dragsters tow a heavy metal sled along a straight, dirt track as the sled’s resistance increases. Within a class of similar vehicles, the one that pulls the sled the farthest is the winner. Pullers spend long nights traveling, wrenching, and tuning to put on the best show and take their best shot at prize money and season championships.
Scheduled to appear at the 2023 M.E. Miller Tire Tri-State Showdown are Grand National Four-Wheel-Drive Trucks and Modified Minis as well as Regional National 4.1 Limited Pro Stock and Hot Farm Tractors, Two-Wheel-Drive Trucks, and multi-engine Modifieds. All will compete for championships, either Grand National or Region II (Modifieds: II-Northwest), and qualification to appear at the 36th annual Enderle Pull-Off on Saturday, September 16 in Urbana, Ohio.
