Columbus, Ohio—The National Tractor Pullers Association has added Tara Larsen of Le Center, Minnesota to its headquarters staff in the position of Membership Coordinator.
Tara is a May 2024 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. While at MSUM, she served as Operations Coordinator with the University’s GO! TEAM, within which she orchestrated collaboration among student-workers, administrators, and coaches and authored the group’s Priorities and Training Manual. She previously served GO! TEAM as its Communications Lead and interned at Crystal Valley Cooperative in Mankato, Minnesota. In each of these roles, she implemented software for such organizational functions as content calendar development and event planning.
Oh, and she’s familiar with the view from behind the steering wheel, too.
“I grew up pulling garden tractors and mini rods,” Tara offered. “It has been a passion of mine for years. The opportunity to give back to the sport and the community that has given me so much was one I could not pass up.”
Tara additionally brings experience in multimedia marketing, and she helped out with the Midwest Spring Super Pull at Cedar Lake Arena in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
“Volunteering with the Super Pull helped give me an understanding of the work that it takes, beyond time in the shop, to make a pull everything it can be. I look forward to working with the members of the NTPA and hopefully making their experience better than ever!
Tara is in the process of relocating to central Ohio. She will begin her work with the NTPA on Monday, June 3.
