Marion, Ohio—The Executive Board of World Pulling International has accepted the resignation of Director Roger Wysong of Lewisburg, Ohio.
By vote of the Board, Rick Austin of Brodhead, Wisconsin has been appointed to serve the remainder of Wysong’s term, which expires in Spring 2027.
Wysong is the owner and president of AP Productions, which will continue to film and produce the Association’s “Championship Pulling” series that appears weekly on RFD-TV.
Wysong was first elected to the WPI Board in 2009 and was elevated to its presidency in 2019. He served in that capacity until 2023.
Austin’s appointment as Director At-Large marks the beginning of his second stint on the Executive Board. He previously served from 2011 to 2021 and as vice president from 2014 onward.
Other members of the WPI Board include Ned Walliser, President; Vaughn Bauer, Vice President; Dale Quamme, Secretary; and Scott Doty, Treasurer.
